ABOUT US
Who are we?
Blesses was set up in 2011 with the aim of contributing to the journey of building a fairer world free from poverty. This we will do through innovative sustainable solutions.
We have taken our first steps on this journey through our projects for Qurbani, Ramadan and Winter Emergencies. We are now engaged in laying the building blocks of our infrastructure so that we can experience a period of growth, expanding our programmes to deliver more sustainable solutions to those in need around the world.
Our initial priority is to focus on programmes for children, their families and
communities across a number of different thematic areas.
Vision
To empower marginalised communities to stand on their own feet with dignity, so that together we can build a new world of peace, harmony and prosperity.
Mission
To enhance the quality of the lives of people suffering from acute poverty through the provision of structured sustainable programmes, particularly for vulnerable children and women.
Values
Blesses is built on the values of EICE; Empowerment, Integrity, Compassion, and Equality. We strive to imbue these core values across all aspects of our work. From the programmes we implement, to the causes we champion, the actions of our staff and even functioning of our offices. We hold these values to be crucial in maintaining the spirit of the rganisation as it has been envisaged by the founders. We encourage all employees and stakeholders to be mindful of these values and openly discuss them as they relate to the work we do.

We believe that the most beneficial and most sustainable way to fight poverty is to empower those affected by it. This is reflected in our commitment to sustainable development projects.

Mothers, sisters, and daughters are the center of our families and also the center of our societies. The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said “Your Heaven lies under the feet of your mother [Ahmad, Nasai]. They usually bear the greatest burdens on their shoulders. Imagine struggling with poverty and adding to these difficulties with the fear of losing your children or not being able to provide them food, or giving them the means to have a good education. Blesses Charity has been providing its charitable services to families in Syria, Palestine, Egypt and Somalia, we are involved in helping thousands of destitute and in many cases desperate people.
