TAKE ACTION
‘When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: Sadaqah Jariyah (a continuous charity), or knowledge from which benefit is gained, or a righteous child who prays for him’. (Muslim)
Last winter, with the support of our generous donors, Blesses provided fuel, food parcels and winter clothes that gave less fortunate people in these areas much needed respite from the harsh conditions and weather they are living in.

This year our focus is sustainability, to help needy people start their own projects for a regular income. Some 152 million children are trapped in child labour globally.

We want to play our part and help children go back to school and we want to empower marginalised communities to stand on their feet with dignity. This ties in with the concept of Sadaqah Jariya, which is recurring charity, this continues to benefit the giver and the receiver.

One of our success stories is the story of Amina who is a great baker. When able to, she bakes bread for her family. Sometimes she would feel embarrassed to find children outside her door enjoying the irresistible aromas of bread. So she decided to prepare bread for them too.
She needed an oven and money to buy ingredients, which Blesses
provided and now she is helping her family and others and making a small income to support her family. Yes You Can help people like Amina feed their neighbours and support their families.

We pray that with your support we will be able to fulfil our ambitions.
